PRESS RELEASE FOR MARCH 4, 1998

Here is a sneak peak at some of the cards you will find in the upcoming The
Gathering Edition of Highlander: The Card Game.

Discipline
EDGE
Play this card at the beginning of your turn.  For the remainder of your
turn, you may ignore the effects of all Special cards your opponent has in
play which prevent you from playing any attacks.

Security Guard
SITUATION
Play on any Situation in play.  If your opponent attempts to remove a
Situation from play, discard one Security Guard assigned to that Ally
instead.  If the Ally leaves play, so do all Security Guards assigned to
it.

Security Guard
SITUATION
Play on any Object in play.  If your opponent attempts to remove an Object
from play, discard one Security Guard assigned to that Object instead.  If
the Object leaves play, so do all Security Guards assigned to it.

CORDA AND RENO
PERSONA
Once during the game, at the beginning of your turn, you may discard your
entire hand to reshuffle your discard pile into your Endurance.  Redraw to
your Ability.  This is not considered to be an Exhaustion.  You may have up
to 4 Master Cards.

Corda and Reno
The Equalizer     R2
OBJECT
Discard this card immediately after playing a Basic Attack to make the
Basic Attack a Ranged Attack.  This Special Attack does 2 damage.  You may
only have 1 The Equalizer in play.

IMAN FASIL
PERSONA
If you successfully block an attack, your next attack that turn may be
Hidden.  You may have up to 5 Master cards.

EDGE
Play this card inconjunction with a dodge.  If the dodge was the last
defense you played this turn, you may attack normally this turn.

KANE
PERSONA
At the beginning of your turn, you may look at the top card of your
opponent's Endurance.  You may use that card this turn if you discard the
top card of your Endurance.  You may have up to 5 Master cards.

Shapeshift     R2
EVENT
Exchange any Situation you have in play for any Situation your opponent has
in play.  If either Situation leaves play, return it to its original
owner's discard pile.

YUNG DOL KIM
PERSONA
You may play non-Ranged Attacks as blocks.  If the last defense you played
was an attack, you may attack to any area that turn.  While you have an
Extra Weapon in play, you may make one additional attack each turn.  You
may only do this once per turn.  You may have up to 5 Master cards.

Frenzy     R4
SITUATION
For each Frenzy you have in play, you may play an additional basic attack
each turn.
